The thought that it's &quot;greener&quot; to buy - anything newly harvested, processed and PACKAGED as opposed to reusing/fixing something with a past life is, I would think, rather thinly veiled. Consumer nature is what needs to be rethought. I find myself getting angrier and angrier -- but that's not productive either. So - what's left? To be unfashionable and un-hip and soundly rooted in your principles? Yep.
